Good afternoon everyone.
Mom, meet my blog; blog, meet my mom. *insert handshake here* :)
Introduced her to my blog today. Hope she's reading happily. My mom is also a WLS Surgery Patient, my best friend, and my best support system. We've been hand in hand in this since the beginning. Went to the seminar, pre op, surgery, post op, and our fills together. We were actually banded by the same doc on the same day. We agreed on the day of the seminar that we were in this together, if one of us can't make a fill appointment, we reschedule and make sure we can go together.
Well, that's all for now. Gotta get back to doing homework. Have a great day everyone.
LOVE YOU MOM!!!

Oh that is great...another Mom and daughter team. My Mom and I were banded together on the same day (9/29/09) back to back on the by the same dotor as well. We halso have done EVERY step of this journey together.
Isn't it awesome to have such a great support system, you get to share this experience with your Mom and your best friend.
Yay for you guys.
So cool to have another mom/daughter team. Surprisingly I don't see that very often. Indeed it is great to have the support of her. We are very close, were very close even before this. Blogs and support sites are great to build up a network, but it's also way cool to have someone to go to fills and support group with.
I remember this story! Hi MOM!! Your DD is a wonderful gal! Wish my Mom was in need of WLS, but she's 'normal' and I love her dearly. Unfortunately she birthed 4 girls and a boy who are all now obese/morbidly obese...well, me 'formerly' (yeah, Dad's 'Normal' too...we're a mystery!)! Welcome to the blogging world! Hope you start your own 'journal'...it's helpful for support (and I had NO clue what a blog was when I started!). ((hugs)) -BG
DD, WLS, DH, DS, NSV.......does anyone else thing we sound like an eye chart around here? :)
